Press Releases – Offline versus Online Distribution
Disclosure: Okay, so the flowcharts’ resolution didn’t come up as pretty as possible. Just “click” on the image itself, and their regular-size will pop up! Also, read my Blue Notes for the obvious differences. I’m *so* psyched I got them up! Enjoy!
Inspired by John’s Drawings, I decided to give my own image-flowchart a whirl. Please be honest with your thoughts (on the Flowchart, my dear…not on the poor picture-snap shot. I’m *not* a photographer.)
I spent the last 2.5 days trying to upload, crop, edit to Flickr.com, etc….and well, I just had to get this up, so as advised by John, I uploaded them to my server, and got them up.
Anyways, back to my post’s points: I’ve been having problems “sharing” the difference between Online and Offline Press Releases to colleagues lately, both to my PR (Public Relations) buddies/colleagues, and those who have no idea how and why Online Press Releases would be beneficial to their website/blog.
Side note: Because David conducted some good beginner research on Press Releases here for the Mastermind Project, this is just the beginning of my Online Press Release series, and not the full-soup-to-nuts, I hoped to achieve by today. Thanks David for taking the pressure off me

shouldmust start adding them to their internet marketing arsenal right now!
“I don’t have news to share” is the common issue shared. But, when I drew out this outline to a dear colleague here at home–it did just that! Hit home with him—Oh! I’m going to get my clients, traffic to my website/blog, etc….and it’s targeted traffic I shared. So, here they are:

Blue Lines show Nearly Instanteous Access, Often hours, but no more than a couple of days.
The Double Arrows show Comment/Trackback Ability, in which direct conversations can occur with the Consumer and Producer…and other middle wo/men on the internet!
