My results?
We started out with an awesome self-discovery questionnaire (business & personal). I was so surprised how much could be fit into one-single session! After all, we didn’t know each other…and, honestly, I think it’s better.
I left with assignments, that quite frankly–yes–they were Empowering!
We went from the Future to the Present.
By envisioning Year 5 Now! Then, Year 1…getting to my monthly, weekly & even daily duties seem effortless!
A GREAT exercise that I keep by my side, is my 80-20 list…
This theory Yaro shares in the opening Mind-Set Entrepreneur Audios at Blog Mastermind–and having a weekly coach to assure that I’m adhering to my 80-20 rule, is WAY cool!
You’ve noticed that I’ve been delegating and outsourcing tons (even paying staff to follow-alongside me!)–and that’s #1 because of my disability, but more importantly #2–because frankly anything that can be done for less than my hourly $175-price tag is an investment in my business to get it off my hands! Figuratively & literally.
B. Yes, I am taking advantage of the one-month coaching option ($350/month). If she can get me through this month–the one weaning me back from really being “offline” for 2 months. Help me accomplish my 4-Huge Tasks in September…so I can start October 1, 2007 with a Bang! Then, she’s worth $350+++

What excites and inspires you most about growing your business, and why?
The chance to do something positive with my life, is what excites me most about my business. I grew up feeling powerless and watched the women in my family also feel powerless. My business will give women a chance to protect themselves and take control of their lives.
So … I have waited until what appears to be the very last minute to submit my entry. I hope that I am doing it correctly. If not, I have not left myself much time to correct it now have I? (smile) Hopefully, someone will enter after me and I won’t feel so bad. Anyway, in response to the question: If you could have any result for yourself or your business over the next 3-6 months, what would it be, and why is that most important to you?, I would say the following.
I would love, in the next 3-6 months, to have my business up and running. It’s really just that simple. I would love to be in a position where I could actually run my business. Right now, I spend a lot of time planning, researching, trying to learn how to do things. I do not have the resources to pay people to do what I need done, so I have taken the challenge of doing it myself. I am sure there are ways that I could accomplish my tasks quicker, but I do not want to sacrifice the quality that I want to display in my finished product. So, if I could do anything, I would find a way to really focus my energy during this phase and just “get her done”!! I know with complete certainty that once I had things at a good starting point, I would be able to take the ball and really run with it. Well, maybe not run because I am not that athletic. But I would definitely walk at a very swift pace!!!
This is very important to me because I know that I am at a place in my life right now where I NEED to make a change. I am increasingly becoming disgruntled at work because I know that I should be putting my skills to work at building my business, not just the company I work for. I am very good at planning but I know that the best plans in the world are worthless without proper action and follow through. I want to be sure that I am doing things as efficiently as possible so that I am not eternally stuck in the planning phase. Thanks for considering me.

QUESTION: “If you could have any result for yourself or your business over the next 3-6 months, what would it be, and why is that most important to you?”
I’ve been slowly getting a business-to-business service off the ground, fear masking itself as confusion and procrastination. But in describing my business to a bank manager today, something happened. I felt like I was especially mindful of what she would find interesting about it, but more importantly, I felt a connection between us. And I realized that the dreaded prospecting/cold-calling I need to do…doesn’t have to be COLD at all. It could be the warmth of a friendly greeting, asking if I might be of service to them, asked in a positive way so that we are both enriched by the asking.
I held onto that great feeling for a moment…then came home and resumed having the fuzzies and the willies about cold-calling, marketing, unsure of what to do next.
My goal in 3-6 months is to KNOW HOW TO KNOW WHAT ACTION TO DO NEXT, to be excited by the opportunity…and to be informationally and emotionally supported in actually DOING what’s next.
My goal is to do this not only because our family needs the income, but because if I am empowered to create, connect, produce and receive income in this small business…I will know that I can pursue ANY worthy dream successfully, and I will be modeling that for my kids as well.
