My Plugins, Your Plugin, Let’s Find the Best Plugins Together!
Update on Plugins:Woo Hoo! Amanda is the Hero of thedayweek! She’s doing a major overhaul here for us! But, we’re running into some plugin-problems.
-
- Our translation plugin is not working. We follow directions, yet each flag directs to an unknown URL–not a translation one. Legal Andrew introduces one-great benefit to having this available–any advice?
- Seth Godin’s plugin is not working. Any advice how to change it ourselves and get this way-cool plugin. Maki introduced this plugin to us. We saw it in action yesterday, but didn’t give my RSS Feed correctly.
- Click here for our RSS feed.
- Popular Post Plugin - Where are You? I already have the Popularity Contest plugin, which is nice…but, can’t find the plugin that put’s a category in our columns to direct readers to our
bestMost Read Posts. Please help! - Much Thanks and Link-Love in Advance. Remember, W.E. Do Follow!
My Plugin Want List:
- WordPress Plugin to increase RSS subscribers,
- International languages translation. Which plugin do you use and recommend?
- Most popular posts,
- SRG Clean Archives, Sean says you can install this on any page, so I’ll most likely put it with my SiteMap, and get out them out of my columns once and for all!
- TextLinkAds
- What else should I want for community-generating (commenting friendly), traffic-building (Search Engine Optimization), and empowering women enterpreneur-specific plugins [yay, the later is a stretch…but, ya never know these days!]
My Plugins List:
- Askimet - spam catcher
- Bad Behavior - double-up spam catcher (Askimet alone wasn’t doing the trick for me)
- Dragon Design Sitemap Generator - Good for search engine spiders, and end-user category-based site map, with pages referenced too
- DoFollow - Allows Link-Love from your commentators
- Get Recent Comments - Recent comments category in my far-right column
- Head META Description - Search Engine Optimization thinga-mi-gig (I don’t think its working though…)
- Link Exchange Manager - Just went live! Check it out now, start networking, and be first on the list!
- Way cool! It has a reciprocal link finder too, and autoresponder messages to the author (me) and the interested linker (you).
- MightyAdsense - Helps place Google Adsense wherever you want it.
- Popularity Contest - Ranks each blogpost and page by traffic it receives. Great to see what interests your readers the most.
- SEO Title Tag - Search Engine Optimization Title Tags at the bottom of each post (when I remember to do it), has a “Get Keyword Suggestions From Yahoo” for ease–phew!
- Show Top Commentators - Give link-love to those who frequent your blog.
- Subscribe to Comments - Allows readers to follow the conversation without having to comment themselves.
- Ultimate Tag Warrior - SEO stuff…
- WP-Amazon - So excited about this. But, I just tried to get my book and couldn’t find it…bugzzz to work out, I guess.
- WP-ContactForm - Pretty, nice, well-organized contact form comes directly into my emailbox.
- WP AJAX Edit Comments - Allows you to edit your own comments
- Subscribe me - Keeps you notified of particular blog post threads/comments you’re interested in.
Now how do you get all these plugins to install?
In one-nifty-place: Here OR Here!ÂÂ
I apologize due to time, I haven’t gone through my entire list, but I know the majority are there in my quick perusal. The only one, that may not be there because it was newly released is the Link Directory by Alex of eBranding.
Please suggest or recommend your plugins below!
BTW, this computer-dummy has not learned, nor been taught yet “how-to” install a plugin…yikes! Any tutorials you can suggest? Yeah, yeah…it has something to do with FTP… XYZ…more acronyms, if I remember correctly: FTP = File Transfer P???
Aww family is home! Here’s to getting all my blogposts out before the weekend ends…
