Link to Women Entrepreneurs Blog for LinkS-back, free gifts, prizes and more!

As you know Amanda is helping us monetize and optimize our site; and, her post that I just noticed really hit home! It reminded me that I was supposed to research and write about LinkBaiting for Marco’s Group Writing Project (yikes, due today :-/ ).

Izzy of IzzyMom and my #1 choice of BlogRolls Blogger Chicks, reminded that Technorati keeps links live for only 180 days…so, Link-Baiting as a topic is very important for all of us to maintain and sustain high (really low-numbers) in Technorati & alexa ranking and high Google PageRank. All these stats are critical, as you may know, to gain the most revenue from our advertisers, sponsors, etc.

I must say, I’m ecstatic about my move to WordPress over the past 4 months in terms of developing a much larger and active community, but there are two things I miss dearly from my Blogger blog:

1. Google PageRank 4 across the board. We went from 0 to 3 on this home blog page, which static pages at 5. Alhough we’re predicted for a PR5 in the upcoming month

2. Technorati rank of 10,000! Yes, my Blogger blog has an Authority of 345! [Yay, I do know a thing or two, that I don’t always give myself credit for…] Here we have a 36,000 rank and Authority of 130.

Since the first six-months are critical for Technorati rank, I have a solid 2 months for some major hard work ahead of us; and Link-Baiting is our top priority!
