How to make Your dreams come true
![]()
WomenEntrepreneur.com is live!
One-major step closer to becoming a Syndicated Columnist–yippee
Some miraculous things have been going on behind the scenes, and the benefits will greatly empower You to grow your business and help women entrepreneurs across the world to do the same!
So, how did it all start!? Powerful Networking, my dear.
1. While making my dream come true of becoming a Women Entrepreneur syndicated columnist, and very limited time, I had to be strategic in who and where I sent my queries too, and viola! Come see me at WomenEntprerneuer.com .
I’ll be writing a monthly Powerful Networking column, so hop over and check out my debut article, entitled Networking for Lifelong Relationships.
I propose a new way of thinking called “Permission Persuasion” and I’d love your feedback, good, bad or indifferent. This is the way I “network”, and I’m extremely pleased with my results thusfar.
Another EmpowerWomenNow.com was to have a Women Entrepreneur Forum…well, rather than host one on my own bandwidth, have to deal with all the technical, spam issues myself, and promote the forum: I’ll be actively participating and leading discussions a WomenEntprereneur.com’s Message Boards.
[Side note: if you’re technologically knowledgeable, a member is asking help for “Database-driven website design RFP template” please share your tips, thanks.]
Lesson Learned: Have limited time? Be strategic with whom you network with, share your network, express your short and long-term goals.
2. I must thank Alex for staring his “Gotta Get Goals”/Dream Meme. By simply sharing my dreams for the world to read…I’m getting introductions and making connections with people to make a few of these dreams come true (EmpowerWomenNow.com expansion).
Lesson Learned: Share your dreams and attract people to help you make them come true. Join this dream meme and I’ll list you on my list.
3. By expressing myself openly, honestly, and humbly through my Changing the World series, I’ve touched people on the way, and inadvertently gained loyal, dedicated followers and now partners who want to be the platform for making my dreams come true. (Creating a non-profit organizational fund for 3rd world country women entrepreneurs).
Lesson Learned: Never be too proud to share your deepest darkest moments with others. First, its good therapy, second, you can help or empower others in the process, and third, you never know who’s reading your words.
I shared with my Mommy, hubby and one of my dearest friends, that I’m too exhausted to cry lately.
I’m overwhelmed and excited about the drastic and immediate growth of this blog and website, I’m ecstatic that my husband took on two incredible clients, and through it all–I try desperately to stick to my ’system’ as to not abuse my body.
It has been 3 months since my facial nerves experienced this awful palpitations, and they returned; hence my slow response to emails and lack of daily posts. Everyone perscribed a much needed vacation, so I’m on the hunt to fill these pages with valuable guest bloggers and interview incredibe empowered women entrepreneurs.
The great thing is: EmpowerWomenNow.com is for US. So, please contact me and let me know how you want to contribute to its success, Okay!?
You never know–I may be the platform, that one special person who can make one of your dreams come true.
To our success & empowerment: Peace & Love,
Ponn

Have you read the new book Women and Money its actually a good book and Its helped me a lot with the savings and helping me build my business.
Thanks for the recommendation Amanda. I haven’t heard or read this book. I’ll definitely look into it.

I was listening to the woman this morning on an interview with a local radio show, just listening to what she said about money and smarts its actually something you might want to go over on here. she explains about women more apt to give away money then men because we’re giving by nature and how to stay money smart and stuff its really good.
I think its great that you are now a columnist on there I think its great, I’ve been to the site once I’m checking it out more hopefully I can affiliate with them!
Amanda
Very important point: Women and money.
I highly recommend Judy Lawrence AKA “The Budget Coach”Money Tracker. She sold over 350,000 copies, is a dear colleague, and her budget forms are so easy to use. I used them a couple years ago when we first installed allowance and my girls were 5,4 and 2 years old.
Thanks for your support in my columnist position. I’m humbled by the exposure.
Peace-out.

Sorry I didn’t let you know about the pjmommy changeover. It totally blew over my head. LOL
Those are some pretty cool tips. I enjoyed this article. Gave me some ideas. I’ma go over it again.
Jenny
No apologies necessary. As long as I know where to find the two coolest-hippest moms (you and Amanda)…I’m happy
Glad you enjoyed the tips. Hope you’ll hop over to WomenEntprereneur.com too…my gut feelings…I’m sure I’ll find you on the Forums

Hi Ponn
Great article! Further to Amanda’s comments on Women and Money, while I’ve yet to read the book as well, there’s also a talk show by Suze Ozman on CNBC which I enjoyed very much, especially her frank talk where she helped people (for some reason, it’s mostly the women who’s seeking her advice) to resolve their financial dilemma.
I’ve also recently came across a report of an interview with Bob Proctor that says that “Most people don’t go after what they really want in life, they go after what they think they can get.” which struck a chord in me ‘cos upon self-reflection, this is the case for me so Now I’m going to make a change and consciously go after what I really want… hence my forage into the blogging world too…
Great tips! I did the link challenge with Alex on getting goals but only wrote about my 1yr goals because I think I was afraid to put down my real goals. One minute I believe I can accomplish them but then sometimes I get discouraged so I rather put my short term goals up first before my long term goal.
Ginene Sharing any goals, short or long-term with others is a form of accountability that’s much needed in everyone’s life and especially in one’s business.
As for being discouraged…that’s why I like the meme of “sharing your dreams” rather then life’s goals. #10 of my dreams is totally ’subjective’ on my part and only God will judge my true being from the inside out. So, I don’t feel discouraged in sharing things that are important to me and my life. Also, I’m a firm believer and supporter of celebrating all goals that you achieve, no matter how small they are. I know this is harder for others to grasp, that’s why I literally set 2 major work goals a day. That’s an ‘attainable’ number, and I can always celebrate my work for the day…and not discouraged.
Stay empowered, share your concerns and let’s grow together!
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ponn
Thanks for the encouragement
Came to the realization that there’s so much to learn in Blogosphere, and being a newbie, terms such as “trackback”, “tagging” and many others at this stage just fly over my head… but I will figure it out with the help of all the wonderful people I met in Blogosphere.
Cheers
Janice
Thanks Pon.
You’re right I can always share my dreams. If they come true its a plus but I will always have my dreams.
Congratulations Ponn! In life we have results or excuses, you are the perfect example of an Empowered Woman that’s living the life of her dreams, because you decided to create it! When life threw you a curve ball you ran with it. You’re such an inspiration, way to go girl!
Jan
