Blogtipping for mommy-blogs and a blogger-grl
Blogtippee #1. Tracy’s Mom’s Niche Blog.
1. Tracy you win my heart over with mommy posts such as, Kids can help out with chores and Enjoy them when they’re young.
2. Tracy keeps you on your toes (which is a good thing) with fun, informative, and useful contests, challenges & ways to interact with her! Tracy I’ll definitely implement so of your tips over here, thanks.
3. Tracy is very good at image placement. She varies the sizes, placements, uses them sporadically (not over done). I tried just to put a “blog tipping icon” on this post, and gave up. There must be an easier way to do this…any tips Tracy?
Ponn’s Tip: Tracy your smiling face and tiny, concise, loving bio warmed my heart. I connect with you right away, as I too am a mom of 3, please consider moving your bio up to the top-fold of your blog page.
Blogtippee #2 PlayLibrary Oh geez–you win this homeschooling mommy big time!
1. Love the breakdown of children’s recommended books by children’s ages. We’ve read a few already…but, you definitely introduced new ones to us, thanks!
2. Okay, just like Tracy’s…I love polls and with results available–way cool! You gals are truly showing what I love and what I need to implement over here.
3. Many cool categories…such as Cooking with Kids, Coloring Books and other Activity Books, etc.
Ponn’s Tip: I look forward to the “Computer Games for Kids” category grow. All are girls (6.5, 5.5, and 3.5 years of age) are internet-savvy with our parental control. There’s this fear of too much TV, too much PC, etc. for kids out there. We don’t use technology as a babysitting-option, and it innovation has made our girls extremely entrepreneurial and quite intelligent (proud mom speaking) in the process–so we encourage their use of technology rather than prohibit it.
Blogtippee #3 Newspapergrl
1. Janet has a new loyal reader in me! I’ve been keeping posted the past couple of weeks, as she’s filled with incredible insights in Online Public Relations…hah: get it “Newspaper”grl? We touched base here. She’s so charitable: as shares her knowledge of entrepreneurialism and technology to kids–keep up the incredible work Janet!
2. But, Janet is very competent in her Internet Marketing skills and techniques too. I have to learn more about the whole social network sites like LinkedIn, MySpace, and her fav: Twitter. Any tips Janet?
3. You must check out her Pages: My Fav Links , About with her top-notch how-to or what-is articles,
Ponn’s Tip: Where’s your RSS feed grl? Luckily I have you in my favorites, and my list is very short and clean over there. But, I want others to remain as loyal as I am to you…with the hit of one button. The best solution I’ve found is the widgets here. Yes, I know I can ‘bookmark’ each post, but I gotta know when you post, K?
Acknowledgments: Easton of BusinessBlogwire, founder of Blogtipping. Next month is his one-year anniversary of Blogtipping. Here’s where you get those icons, that I can’t install. [I saved to my computer, but then I have to have a URL for my image…blah blah…seems so complicated.] If you participate in Blog-tipping, leave him a comment in this month’s post here.

Thanks Ponn! Okay - I’ll give you a little tip
Photobucket.com
This place is great. You sign up for free and upload whatever pics you like. It will give you a url reference that you can use to place the pics on your blog!
Try it and let me know what you think.
Thanks Tracy! I’ll definitely give Photobucket.com a try!
Hope you’ll give Blogtipping a whirl too!

Ponn,
I appreciate your words and advice! I just talked to you for the first time today and made a new friend.
I love your enthusiasm and belief in empowering women.
You can get links to your sites by utilizing social networking sites. My Twitter entries are being ranked in Google higher and faster than other social networking sites.
Example of creating links on a social networking site: Create a MySpace page. Link from your MySpace blog to this blog. Make the link text one of your keywords (use a tool like http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com to research).
Blog on!
Janet
Hey Janet, blog/rock on too sweetie!
I’m so glad I blogtipped you gals…we’re exchanging tips, links, and building great relationships!
Wow, I’ve been told over and over again to get in on the ’social networking craze’…but, only until you shared these 2 sentences, it finally makes sense to me now!
Thanks so much!

Great tips here, Ponn…
Janet, I wanted to tell you that I have shyed away from Twitter because I just think that I’ll get more and more addicted to the internet and I’m trying to not blog so much, etc. But now you’re showing me something I never thought or considered SEO benefits of Twitter! Aaah!! How can I ever keep up with all of the social networking opps!
Thanks Kelly!
Janet really opened my eyes too. I agree, though, I shy away from these social opportunities, because I know I could easily get hooked to the “networking” opportunities…and time is so limited these days.
But, Janet really made valid points, that I must and should participate now.
