3. Empowering Women Blog goals

Throughout my illness and battle with my brain disorder, I received scores of email thanking me for my inspiration, motivation and empowerment–regardless of the odds against me.

Prior to battling my partial paralysis, I headed (& homeschooled) my family of 3 little girls for nearly a year with my husband overseas.

While I made certain choices out of the norm, and many times seen as fighting against my own recovery; I always had my faith, husband, family, friends and community–you– allowing me to live regardless of our differences.

Many times I only had faith, my hubby & girls…but that made us all individually & collectively stronger.

I found a poet inside! A creative voice, I never heard or felt before. I dictated random and complete thoughts for many months, and now I’m ready to let my fingers let my secret voice speak up once and for all–regardless of any pains.

I feel more empowered by overcoming my difficulities and thank God everyday that my prognosis is hopeful and bright!

I’ll be using this blog to share my articles, thoughts, poetry and reviews (of course) so we can walk this journey of life together.

Will you join me?

In peace, Ponn
