Please forgive my less-than smiling ways

I’m terribly sick; actually tears are rollin’ down my cheeks b/c well; my brain is not being nice these days. But, the show must go on…my gals are workin’ hard with unveiling our new site with or without me, blah blah…

Skip the next 2 paragraphs, if you just wanna know why I’m calling all women entrepreneur bloggers! What’s In-It-For-You!

It’s not very “empowering” if I continue to work through this pain and suffering. For my very new readers, subscribers (BTW, I wuv u all! B/c even with low stats due to our server change and the holiday…my subscriptions and personal emails have increased like never before)…I have an extremely rare brain disorder. It’s quite awful and scary really…a part of my brain seeps into my spinal cord, hence causing me partial paralysis. With the heat wave 2 weeks ago (90+ degrees weather) I just pass out here and there, in the grocery store, post office. Thank God they know me in both places and cater to me, my family and health limitations. Hubby stays on-call knowing he needs to pick me up. I don’t leave a 3-mile radius from home. Why do I leave? Well…I can’t stay in the house ALL the time: a home-based entrepreneur, a home-school mama, a home-chick…you got the picture, right?

Well, the heat hit again this week, and now I’m passing out, having somethin’ like brain mini-black-outs, and my idiotic MDs have NO idea what to do with/for me…so, where’s my empowerment these days? Actually here on my blog! Family can’t talk to me without crying…my girlz cry more day in and out, because they watch me inch around the house, lop-sidded b/c my brain is SO heavy these days. Those who know my disability follow me in awe, and email me all the time, why don’t you share more of your personal stuff? I don’t know how you do it!? Well, b/c I have enough business content to last MANY years, I have future posts sitting in my box ready to hit ‘publish’ whenever I want too…I don’t have time to even share my pain. I’m NOT a cry-baby and find no need to share details. Well, that will soon change, I bought a couple new domain names to share my BrainPain.com (for all my fellow brain-pain-ers and PonnSabra.com- for everything and anything that doesn’t fit here…homeschooling, mommy-ing, working with a disability, yadda yadda…

And, with our new site, we’re positioned to host multiple guest bloggers, and take a ton of work load offa’ me, so I can do what I love most: writing for therapy. Writing to share experiences in business and in life.

Yes, you know, I only unveiled my “Advertising Page” less than a week ago…and well, My inbox is SO full!

Not, necessary with big-bucks following each plea to get coverage/reviews on my site either. But, Power Networker Ponn will NOT allow anyone get away from her, especially since these are loyal readers, subscribers and lovers of EmpowerWomenNow.com!

I say, I can and I WILL work with everyone’s budget.

Ready for these stats?

Since Tuesday night, I just received 4 book review offers, 1 product review, and 2 website/blog reviews.

Since my unveiling my advertising page, I get at least 1 inquiry a day…and, checking out every website, book, product, etc. These are ALL thangs I, as a woman entrepreneur, and YOU would love to learn more about!

a. As a best-selling author, I get paid $200 (honorary checks) for a pre-launch book review. So, I don’t even review books for free…and haven’t in ages.

So, to all the blog reviewers, I asked for a dozen autographed copies of books to share or give-away to my readers!

b. I also get Free access, free downloads, etc. for product, software reviews…and never thought this as ‘advertising’…but accordingly to my colleagues it is. So, in my replies to those without the cash, I’ve asked for X number of free subscriptions…

And, everyone is happy!

c. Why are my advertisers happy!? Because I’m calling all Women Entrepreneur Bloggers to apply to my first-time-ever-on-the-web:

Unfortunately, I do *not* have time to personally, nor have my staff, work on “special-pretty” optin boxes.

1. You MUST be a woman entrepreneur who blogs. You’re target market does not have to be women entrepreneurs, just you must cater to women! Priority of course will go to those who write to women entrepreneurs though.

Please be patient, this will be an slow approval process. I will personally check y’all out, and the MORE data, information, you provide…the better chances you’ll rub me the right way. I’m busy and u know that, this network is designed to lighten my workload…not increase it!
