Branding and Brand Marketing
What’s up with all this branding, building a brand, or brand marketing stuff?
Gotta’ brand? What’s Your Brand? Do W.E. (women entrepreneurs) need a brand?
You betcha!

My colleague Kristie Tamsevicius. and best-selling author I Love My Life ~ A Mom’s Guide to Working At Home built a platform and built her brand as a work at home mom helping other moms (or interested entrepreneurs) work at home, through her website Webmomz.com.
Kristie Tamsevicius (AKA “Kristie T”…another “brand”) is the President and Founder and Michelle Floyd is the CFO and Co-Founder of WebMomz.com
They obviously found their niche, made a positive internet branding presence. Take a look at these phenomenal statistics:
WebMomz.com has thousands of visitors. They are averaging 110,000 unique visitors each month, with an average of 11 page views per unique visitor! We are averaging around 997,763 hits per month!
By maintainging her online and offline brand marketing strategies, Kristie T soon became known as an online marketer who helps other authors and motivational speakers build their brands online. Kristie T designs websites at Branding On The Net.

Check out Branding On the Net for her free articles, checklists and a list of other branding resources that you should read and apply right now.
Another great starting place with innovative branding ideas, such as creating your own holiday (how cool), and more…hop on over to Kristie T’s Branding on the Net Blog.
As you can see…over time, your brand can and will change.
I also remember reading somewhere (in her flood of resources) that its best to be branded with your influence and not of others.
Try to always control your own identity.
Try to be the cow eager to lead the pack as he is the lone ranger without a scar on its butt; rather than the rancher trying to brand you an imprint of an insignifant number that everyone else has. [My visual of what's branding is all about].
Stick out of the crowd and capitalize on your unique positive features.
So, what’s MY brand, you ask?
As I write, speak and promote my book, Empowering Women to Power Network and Empower Women Now website, I’m becoming known as the Empowering Women Chick…The Women’s Empowerment Author, Consultant and Advocate.
People are assoicating my Women’s Empowerment, specifically for Women Entrepreneurs and the work at home mom community; and generally with working women and business women.
This is all great becuase this is my target market.
So, in essence my brand just evolved. (As will yours).
The other day, my brother and I were talking about my book and blog…and W.E. kept coming up: as for Women’s Empowerment, Women Entrepreneur, and my need to empower women that “we” need to power network among one another…then we laughed as we coined me the W.E. Queen
- The Women’s Empowerment or Women Entrepreneurs Queen.
- The Queen Empowering You to remember that WE always need to power network together becuase just being a Woman Equals Queen.
Whether it sticks or not is another issue.
I’m just happy that my branding efforts are bringing me targeted online and offline clientele…and this is the most important thing about branding and brand marketing.
So, again I ask, “What’s Your Brand?”
If you need some help, give Kristie T a ring, and let her know I said “hi”!
