7 Little Known Ways to Get Links to Your Blog

1. Start a BlogRoll.

I finally put together a short-list of my personal favorites. I promise to keep this list short.

2. Answer: “Yes!”

- When asked questions in a solo-post, “Do you want to be Number 100?”. Submit, and get featured here.

- When asked questions within the post itself, “Do you have a recommendation on how a beginner could select a niche?”, and be surprised with a live-link back within the post here.

3. Take a Blogger Challenge. Easton posts a new one each Thursday. And, Be a Winner!

4. Participate in on an experiment.

5. Add Colors Baby!

With blog directories, then MyBlogLog, and BlogCatalogue.

Now, instead of seeing the clean white walls that I so dearly loveD. Now, I see colors of people, crowds of people, partners, clients, possibly investors too! Oh, how I now LOVE colors!

I’m getting link-love all over the blogosphere…comments and trackbacks, favorites, and members…oh, the glorious colors!

6. Start a link exchange yourself.

7. Welcome the opportunity to be featured…even if it’s late notice!

When asked, “would you like to be featured there tomorrow?” I quickly pulled up the past posts on this topic, saw previous answers and saw what a piece of cake it would be to answer Char’s one question:

I’m often asked for my top recommendations, now I can just refer you to this concise post here!

BTW, did you happen to notice, the Power of adding a Tip #1: BlogRoll…I’m gaining more opportunities to share a bit of Entrepreneurial Empowerment. Yippee!

I believe I’ve been featured or at least got some links from all the places except for My Top 3. [I'm not counting all my comments and trackbacks I make to those 3 favorite blogs]

But, when I get featured or get a live-link in a post from one (I mean “each”) of these Top 3 guys, I believe I’ve “made” my mark in this ever-growing highly-dense blogosphere.

Here’s hoping…

Undoubtedly, you can guess I’ll be working/networking my way up to them in the process, as I never leave these kind of things to chance!

These are just 7 little known ways to get links to your blog. And, while you probably already knew (like I did), you have have taken them for granted, didn’t like “the look”, or decided it wasn’t for you–without even first giving it a good try.

All of these thoughts consumed the old blogger within me, and now I changed!

I’ll do anything that involves letting me affect more people with my (hopefully) empowering tips, tools, and resource.
