• Appreciate your far-out dreams
• Hug your with a secure tenderness
• Guide you when you are lost
• Encourage you to reach all your goals
• Love you for all that you are
• Calm you in the middle of your storm
• Excite you during your saddest moments
• Be by your side when you think space is what you need
• Afford you space when you need a moment of peace
• Hold your hand when tension fills it
• Debate with you when stubbornness overcomes you
• Challenges you to be your very best self
• Allow you to grow for inner-strength to consume your being
• Forgive you when you are wrong
• Please you when you need comfort
• Laugh with you when anxiety fills the air
• Helps you when you need your best-friend
• Offers affection with great spontaneity
• Fills your void, as two-halves equals one
• Extends a prayer each day of your lives together
• Provides a companionship built on trust, honor and respect
• Gives structure through a common faith
• And, makes love to you so your legacy carries on through family.

This is my very first poem–let alone a love poem…whadda ya think?
