Do women entrepreneurs need the “wow” of Microsoft’s Vista operating system now?

My short is answer: No.

After numerous reviews, NPR, and online, I’ll just wait. MS will cash in on the bulk orders of major companies and corporations. Bill Gates didn’t become rich for being stupid…he’s not expecting great sales for personal computer upgrade sales. So, don’t do it.

There’s ton of coverage for the much anticipated Microsoft upgrade, I can’t even read them all–for example: here (this is the funniest. “a picture says a thousand words), here and here–but I heard it a great NPR review last week on our road and there’s no way we’re going to get it now.

The reviewer’s #1 great new feature was voice over capability–though we can do it now (not as a built in feature, but I have it now)…so to pay $200 for an upgrade..no way.

Remember, I have partial paralysis of my hands and MDs recommend that I should try voice-over, though they themselves never tried it. Since it takes time to “train” the audio features to recognize your voice, I’m too impatient now.

But, with a new PC–I’m always excited to try out all the new gadgets…so I’ll just wait’til my next computer; which will probably be next year.

I’m patient enough. Are you?
